Dr. Melinda S. Cumming
Dr. Cumming graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.
In 1999, she received her PhD in Neuroscience from WSU and chose to return to clinical medicine
with the purchase of Spring Glen Veterinary Hospital. She lives with dogs, cats, and family in
Renton. Her special interests include internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and reproductive services.
Dr. Margaret Hammond

Dr. Hammond got her Bachelor of Science degree in biosciences from the Evergreen State College in 1990
and her DVM degree from Washington State University in 1994. She practiced in Olympia for 3 years following
graduation from Washington State and in Burien for 9 years after that before coming to Spring Glen.
With a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, Dr. Hammond also brings an interest in feline internal medicine,
dermatology and dentistry. Outside the office Dr. Hammond is interested in gardening, bird watching, and
photography. She lives with her husband and two spunky kittens in a small house with a big garden and lots of wild birds.
